Comparing the two 2014 CFAI Mock Exams that were released against the topic weightings indicated on the CFAI website, I noticed the following discrepancies. Anyone think that the weighting of the item sets per the mock exams are more representative of what we will actually see in two weeks?
Ethics - 3 item sets (15% vs 10% stated)
Quant - 1 item set (5% vs 5-10% stated)
Econ - 2 item sets (10% vs 5-10% stated)
FRA - 4 item sets (20% vs 15-25% stated)
Corp Fin - 1 item sets (5% vs 5-15% stated)
Equity - 3 item sets (15% vs 20-30% stated)
Fixed Income - 1 item set (5% vs 5-15% stated)
Alt Investments - 1 item set (5% vs 5-15% stated)
Derivatives - 2 item sets (10% vs 5-15% stated)
Port Mgmt - 2 item sets (10% vs 5-15% stated)
Hopefully the mocks just added an extra set of ethics to give us practice and these will actually be equity questions.
