Anyone know where I can get a copy of one of the earliest CFA exams (the very first one would be great)? I think it would be interesting to see how they've evolved over the years.
Thanks.

good luck. CFA Institute says they will bring criminal charges against anyone who takes test material out of a testing center. they take this stuff seriously. some people in India may not even get to test on saturday because the Indian courts may not hear the CFA Institute's appeal in time. won't even delay the exam due to the ability of knowledge transfer. if they took this stuff as seriously today as in the 1960s, i'd say you may be out of luck

They've released exams for practice, right on their website. And they've given Schweser old questions. Why wouldn't they give up tests from 40 years ago. I figure in 1970, they were probably giving out tests from the 60s for practice.

well, i just set up an email:

Thanks.
I even forgive you for the bond suck comment.

They have it on their site. It was part of their big "The Founding of a Profession" thing with that whole piece on Ben Graham and the founding of the first Security Society. Don't you guys read the stuff they send us?

Thanks, Willy.

So only 2 1/4 hours long back then: much more civilized starting at 9:45 !

Trust God and keep your powder dry
