Here is an excel file with almost everyone that has posted their results on AF. I may have missed a few.

http://www.freefileupload.net/file.php?file=files/250707/1185403474/CFA+Results.xls

Basically the scores are

1-<50%
2-50% to 70%
3->70%

There are 179 scores listed on the file. Have fun!

This is good stuff and I look forward to checking it out. The problem here is that of 179 scores, only 12 are Fails. There's actually more info in the fails than the passes. For example, an 80% 40/60/80 thing doesn't give us much info at all. We need some more failures!

It's not working... I was hoping the file would just appear?

Is there anything else we need to do?

Yea, I knew that we needed some fail results but not too many people have posted those.

I actually got tired of typing 3!

I downloaded it successfully. You need to be a charterholder to be able to do it successfully. It's part of the L IV curriculum.

Hey ymichael12...just pointing out you have fresher123 on there twice.

This spreadsheet is a great idea! As for completeness, either not all the fails posted (prob true) or because AF members have been working hard together all those tips helped everyone out and most passed.

Interesting stuff...Econ must have been brutal. And surprisingly, no one failed ethics or FSA...

Here is an updated file.

I added a few colums, such as minimum and max score.

We are also up to 170 passes and 19 Fails. If anyone failed and has not posted your score, please do so. If we get enough results, this info can be a good insight into how the CFAI actually scores these things and will no doubt help everyone that is taking LI in December.

Level 1: Fail

The table below illustrates your subject matter strengths and weaknesses. The three columns on the right are marked with asterisks to indicate your performance on each question or topic area.

For those of you who received the highest score in each category, I calculate that this places you in the first decile among all candidates!

can you figure out percentiles based on several of the most favorable outcomes based on 80/60/40? I for instance got 78% (only one 50-70 on a 24 weighted section).

Just curious.

Yup, if you download the file it shows the percentage scores for

40/60/80
0/51/71
50/70/100

Danteshek: For example your scores would be
0/51/71: 69.00%
40/60/80: 78.00%
50/70/100: 97.00%

I was more looking for how we are positioned relative to

1. The entire candidate pool

2. The pool of candidates who passed

A colleague at work failed. He's not an AF'er, but said I could post his score for research purposes.

Let's call him mm
