I'm in excel 2007 and I just got my second computer screen and want to be able to view two excel spreadsheets at the same time in full (so not the compare side by side function).

Is there a way to open the spreadsheet into a new workbook so that I can have two active excel screens? I have the 2007 excel bible but it didnt tell me anything. I know there has to be a way.

Open up excel again from the programs menu or desktop and then open the file within that new excel.

If you just open the file it will open in the already open excel window.

The second screen opens up a whole new world. Enjoy.

It really does, I like to model on the left and search the internet on the right, sometimes I search the internet on both...
