Another satisfied Schweser customer here. With a few twists:
- My Schweser books were from 2004.
- I did only two practice exams from Book 6 -- untimed.
- No Qbank, no Secret Sauce, no nothing (except CFA Ethics handbook, of course).
- My one extra was taking the Boston SAS timed mock exam, which I found tremendously helpful.
Meanwhile, I spent months worrying about not having the official texts or even updated summary materials.
Now those worries seem silly. It turns out Schweser Notes are plenty complete, the curriculum does not change much over short periods, and the exams are very well-written.
Wish I'd known all this when I started studying -- not knowing, I clearly overstudied. I blame the curriculum, which is bloated and seems to be written by administrators and politicians -- while the exams seem to be written by actual finance experts.
