can we use those extra dark pencils (these make darker than normal pencil marks) in the exam instead of #2. also where do we keep our mobile phones during the exam??

the only issue with extra dark pencils would be that they would be hard to erase in case you wanted to change your answer. And there is a separate room I guess for all the stuff that is not allowed in the examination hall. All the best to you and to me as well. :p

In your car. At home. In your bag that you leave behind.
Keep them anywhere but in the exam room.

i meant “do they have a room there to keep belongings like mobile phone(safely)?

I don’t know about the “safely”.
Before you get to the exam room, every exam site seems to differ. For Level 1, they had a system where you put your stuff in a box and they gave you a number, then they put your box in “storage”. To get your stuff, you had to turn in your number and they would give you your box back.
In Levels 2 and 3 (different city from Level 1), we just had a spare room where we just dropped our stuff off. Somebody was in there to watch over it, but if I had grabbed Obi-Wan’s bag instead of my own, they would never have noticed.

How do you think I make up for my CFA exam costs. They got enough goodies in those rooms for a full 10-page eBay listing.

It’s normal to be nervous or scared, especially for an exam that only comes once a year.
The best tip–be prepared. Have your bags packed, get a good night’s sleep, arrive early, and make sure you know the material.

If you are in mumbai, then all bags are kept in a separate room and the room is locked. it is guarded. i haven’t “lost” any of my stuff.
Use the pencil recommended and change your calculator batteries etc. carry your lunch. I do.

Do people keep their lunch in their bag? Or does it take too long to go and find it? Tempted to walk around and buy lunch…
