Failed & appearing for Dec 2008

Don�t fret, everyone here has the ability, and tenacity, to pass. I know you may feel a little beat down right now but all the work you�ve done to this point mean you have all that much more an advantage for December. You�re not starting at square one.

Guys, I failed too in December 07 and barely passed this time around. I understand what you're going through. I agree with Map1 and Topher above. With hard work you'll pass it next time. Good luck!!!
 
My hard work was finally paid off and I took it 7th times and finally passed. My suggestion is to focus on your weakest parts and use CFAI text first and this was what I did at this time. My weakest parts were FSA and Corp Fin. and for the past, I got <50%. Today, they are >70% which impressed me a lot. I am a father of two little girls and when I took the exams in the past, they were just born and young. Now they grew up and I have little more time to study. Therefore, as my username, nogiveup for what you believe in it. No one knows how many time you pass, but recognize your three letters. Good luck to all.

I have never been really good at finance, no whiz or anything. I have had to work hard in college, etc. Nothing just "comes to me". I kind of jumped the gun doing this since I am in the midst of family making and what not. Might be good to wait a year or 2 and see what life brings me and if this is really what i want to keep doing. We shall see.
 
yeah i hope u dont give up amber! it was really great 2 have u on this forum as well. just from reading ur posts throughout the year i can tell that u have a personality of gold and u'll b great with whatever u do with ur life! all the best with the family and future endeavours!
 
Don't Let yourself down guys...This is going to give you even more work for Dec and I bet you will get through in Dec. I had performed very very badly on all sample and mock exams. The highest that I ever got on a sample/mock was 62 and that was the only score I got in 60s. Rest all was in 50s. I hated myself for the way I was performing.
But I did not let my self down. Just kept fighting till the last moment and luckily got through.

Do feel bad a bit about few of us here, but that should bring you a motivation to fight right from day 1. All the best for all here. Wish you get both Luck and hardwork and it pays off. Don't loose heart and fight now.
