The anecdotal evidence is that a retabulation never works.zen123 wrote:Would greatly assist, if S2000 Magician sir could also comment
I agree. I just can’t believe I got my ass handed so badly to me in the morning. I will not re-tab, I will simply spend another year trying to finish this fucking exam.NANA Hachiko wrote:
Honestly if you’re band 10, i’d say do it!
The chance of a mistake happened when adding up your score is slim BUT the benefit of not retaking is HUGE and the cost is small!
do it, at least you will feel better about it that you’ve tried your best, and if it doesn’t work, well you knew you failed so it won’t be a surprise for you!
(Band 7…. another story ^_^)

Dear zen123
For your consideration.
I have PDF with historical results published in 2012.
In 2012 for Level 3 there are 24,754 candidates and 12,756 passers.
When I opened it yesterday in line 2012 I see 24,754 candidates and 12,870 passers.
It seems that there were 114 lucky guys who requested retab and succeeded, what dou you think, guys??
I don’t know either, but it’s hard to say because for the <50% topics you may have scored zero? (eventhough it’s very unlikely)nikhilonline17 wrote:
We have divided the group of candidates who did not pass into 10 approximately equal score bands. Your score band below shows how your overall score on the exam compares with the overall scores of candidates who did not pass this exam.
Your score band: 10
Maybe something with the bad AM result. It is always tricky to understand how they calculate. If you are on the edge, both results are possible.nikhilonline17 wrote:
Any Idea, why this is a fail??

I have never come across CFA remarking a question. What is the basis for this? Does CFA disclose this? At least moscowcfa provided some sort of evidence in his hypothesis.trogulj wrote:
No moscowcfa, those extra people passing was due to a question that got remarked,
