Does anyone know if we can get a re-score? If so, has this ever helped anyone??

Took the exam in Dec 08, scored a 5. Took it this past June and scored in the 10 band. So frustrating.

Thank you,

Retabs are available for $100 here:

http://www.cfainstitute.org/cfaprog/resources/examdetails/examresults.html

but I have personally never seen a retab change a fail to a pass. IMHO that $100 would be better spent on Schweser's Secret Sauce or as a down payment on the QBank.

I got band 10 this June. Band 9 last December. So as you can imagine, I'm pretty gutted.
Tempted to get a rescore, but doubt it will make any difference.
Just gonna have to slog it out again for Dec 09.

Failing in June is much better than failing in December, because you could be sitting for Level II with the same people that passed this round.

Band 10 for me too took the exam after a break of 4 years (my second attempt) above 70 in FSA, Equit, Fixed Income, Portofolio management and Corp finance. Below 50 in Aletrnative Investment and Quant...Rest all 50-70....Should I retab?
