So i failed level 1 in 2014. was a bit down that i failed (though not suprised) since i was scoring like 45% on CFA mock Exams. Anyway i’m starting to Re-study everything again i have 75*days left. I figure it’ll probably be a revision again since i already read and memorized alot of the things so i probably need to just jot it down this time….. Any Advice??

Do LOTS of practice questions/mock exams. 90%+ of your studying from here on out should be practice questions/mock exams based on your situation in my opinion.

You failed once. That was because you didn’t study enough. Obviously you didn’t learn your lesson very well, since you’re waiting until the end of March to start the second time.
If you’re lucky enough to squeak by L1, you will certainly fail L2, because it is quite a bit tougher than L1. And whatever motivation you had will certainly be destroyed for L3.
Just give up. CFA is not for you.

haha, it’s just an issue of time management. Failed Band 10 in December (with I guess 100-150hours preparation) and started last weekend to review the whole things again, approx till beginning of april. Then I have two months for questions/mocks and extra 2 weeks off work right before the exam for extensive learning/repetition.
But you are absolutely right with one thing. Level 2 will be much tougher and needs a lot of more time than Lvl 1. But knowing that, one can put the time into it. So no problem at all

I know people who got more knowledge than me in many subjects like finance, portfolio, maths, but they failed CFA1 because they did not prepared adequately for the exam. CFA exams can be nailed if you prepare yourself with the right materials, the adequate amount of time and discipline. If you have not even one of them, you will fail.

Ok not literally cuz you need the EOCs, but you’ll place yourself in the best position to pass with either schweser or elan given your time constraints. And its not too late for you since this is a retake. Focus on practice questions and mocks. And after you’re done with that do practice questions and mocks. Then do practice quesitions and mocks again. And then do practice questions and mocks.
