FCFE vs FCFF usage

What are the guidelines as to when using FCFF vs. FCFE is prefered. In general, FCFE is preferred over FCFF, correct? when should we use FCFF and FCFE?

FCFF…. when you have unstable or changing capital structure or then FCFE is negative…

FCFE has a bigger volatility component to it, because of the Net Borrowings.
