Hi guys,
Today I tried re-starting studies but couldn’t because of lack of motivation (much money and effort invested but no return). Could you please share your best practices (especially those who had failed but finally passed) to re-gain motivation? :D
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!

If you fail, everything you’ve suffered for and the money you spent is all totally wasted.

I’m at my desk giggling

My advise to you will be keep on focussing on studies. As i myself has failed, but my problem was i was unable to do revision before examination. There are a lots of problems besides failure in CFA lev 1 is coming to face each day, career wise, on personal front etc. So sometimes it becomes difficult to restart study, but trust me this exam is passable, if you do the reading, do a proper revision & remember the formulas & understand the concepts. I failed because of my own mistake. regarrds & best of luck

take your time to relax a bit. I mean, probably you’ve invested a lot of time for the first try. So the time you’ll need for review for the 2nd try will be much fewer.
I failed band 10 and I’m already registered for the June exam. But, I will relax the whole february and start learning beginning of March. So I have 3 full month, which should definetly enough filling the gaps I had in december (and also have a look at the new content)

Cost $1,200
Hours of study (assuming 300?)
$4 an hour you “lost”, my parking fees cost more than that. Suck it up and get back to work.

Wise advice, thank you. Band 10 must be painful, but you seem to be strong. Good luck with your preparations, sure you will make it.

lol you made me laugh so hard :DDD
Thanks a lot, if I pass I will pay your parking fees XD

^^^ what kind of math it is, $1200 AND your time is the cost, not a cost per return, you are not getting your time back in return, you are losing it.
$1200 + 300 hours of cost vs $0 in return
