I was asked to interview for my company college hire program. All that was said was find some good kids and not to get to in depth to my job. So, it is more less just a fit interview. However, I have never done one. Any tips? Thanks a ton.

Introduce yourself at the beginning.

Ask if they know your name at the end.

Reminds me of an interview I had for a retail sales position (financial advisor) with a large well known mutual fund company. I was introduced to the Regional Manager and she sat down with me for a few minutes to begin part 2 of what was to be a 5 part interview. Towards the end of the interview she asked me to do a roll play as if she was the customer and I was the advisor. Of course most conversations like that start out as "Well Mr/Mrs. ______, what brings you in to see us today." Only problem was that I couldn't remember her name and she was just about done with setting up the scenario and I was going to have to start at any second. I was in the middle of my opening line......furiously trying to think of a way around having to say her name, when I noticed her business cards sitting on her desk, facing away from me. I scooted way forward in my chair.....as if I was getting ready for a serious sales effort and managed to peek a glimps at her name on the cards. I was saved thanks to those business cards....and the fact that she didn't catch me take a peak at them.
