Hi,
I am DEC 2014 Level 1 Exam candidate.
Till now completed Ethical and Professional Standards & Quantitaive Method.
Is it worth to join Fitchlearning now or to do self preparation
Any efficient study planner suggestion.
Thanks

If you think you are running out of time, just get Schweser notes. It’s much shorter and more straight to the point and it will be enough to pass Level 1.
Also, you MUST read all the BBs and answer the EOC questions from the CFA books. And do at least 4 timed practice exams.
I have never attended any classes not because I don’t want to but because I can’t afford it. But if you have the funds it’s up to you. What I’m saying is topics from Level 1 aren’t that complicated and self study using Schweser notes will be enough.
Good luck!

OK, Thanks Jordan
What is BBs?
Reading & Understanding and then lots of practice will that work?

BB - blue boxes. Read all of those. Answer each and every end of chapter questions in the CFA book, thrice minimum. And at least 4 timed mock exams.
Key here is lots of PRACTICE and REPETITION.

OK Thanks
Actually I am thinking to go for Fitchlearning OnlineLearning Module. WIll that be worth or I just do my myself?

You still have sufficient time for self-study process. In addition to reading curriculum, solving end of chapter problems and practice problems (e.g. Schweser qbank) is the most critical thing to do for a success on the exam. Also don’t forget Mock exams. In case you have doubts will you make it on time or not, I would recommend using TimePrep - a study strategy and time management tool that will take all your prep variables into account and give you feedback on your study routine and timetable in a calendar. TimePrep makes sure that you will make it on time.
