Sorry to see that you could not make it dude. I really thought you would make it this time. I read from your posts that you studied only for two months. Hey this is pretty good then:

How did you get so good at FSA and PM? Just kidding. I wish you the best and hope you make it through in Dec. I am Dec too, and this is my first attempt. Did you attend any classes? I could not find your post on that if you already have said that somewhere. Also, besides lack of time (only two months as you say) what else do you think would be called lessons learned? More practice questions? Any particular study material? Anything you feel could have helped. I am trying to cover my basis here.

Thanks

FSA wasn't very hard in exams....except corporate finance and some tax questions.

I didnt take any classes but took BSAS exam and Schweser all the way. Quants and Econ were my weaker part and you can see that from my scores. In exam, Econ was very tough and I guess 80% of the econ and quant questions.

Lessons Learned:
1) Start Early (I am starting from next week...I want to take Level II next June)
2) If you dont understand anything, work hard on it. Dont leave anything on luck (I did for economics as I was getting 50-60% right in Q-bank so I thought I will handle that in exam)
3) Show commitment towards it and work like that if you dont pass, your life will end.

I hope this would help. Good luck in preparation

Is this a tax joke?

Just kidding....Good luck in Dec.

I would suggest John Harris's account workshop. I had no account background and it help me get through L2 the second time 'round.

Cheers!

Can't do John Harris. He does not come for L1 to Boston. I would have to go to NYC. He does come here for LII, so hopefully will attend then.

Mwvt9, good catch. I was a typo, I just meant bases.
