I've never been to Europe, but have a quick question. When you walk on the sidewalk, do you walk on the left side or the right?

Not a joke...

I was just walking down a rather wide hallway in my office (on the right side) when a stranger was walking toward me in "my lane"...I wasn't sure if this person was unconventional or playing a game of chicken...lets just say it got me thinking.

Btw, I'm 6'3" and my BMI is 29.4...I have the right of way.

Since BMI is a function of height and weight, I could figure out Porter's weight if I so desired. But I don't really want to.

You walk on the right side in Continental Europe, and the left in the UK.

Just like driving a car.

I agree with darkstar
however this only applies to closed areas such as the tube or corridors
on pavements/sidewalks the rules are less strict
just make sure that u look both ways before crossing a street in the UK as cars often come from the direction u not expecting them to come from...and that can be vey deadly

5'10'
BMI 19 max - do I have the right of way? :=
