Does anyone know if there is a list of formulas that CFA has released or one that was put together? I know schweser has one at the back of each book, but there must be more right?

Hahaha... No, I have never seen or heard of any such formula sheet. But it is as you say, Schweser has one included in their material. AnalystNotes might have one too. Probably the other vendors do as well.

I made my own formula sheet as I progressed through studying. That worked out great.

You don't need a formula sheet. If you understand the concepts and relationships you can put together the formulas yourself (no real need for memorization). You should know that schweser exams tend to be much more quantitative than the actual exams. Try the CFAI practice exam and you'll see the difference.

Schweser may be more quantitative than the actual exams, but much less quantitative than the CFAI readings. Very few points if any would be lost because you didn't memorize a formula, the concepts are much more important than the formulas.

Making your formula sheet is by far the best option. Also make a note of the relationship between the variables.

You will end up getting more concept questions that the number crunching. For the # qns (1) you surely needed the formula (so memorize inside out) and for the concept qns, (2) you need to know the formula, relationship and to some extend background (not a real derivation) of what makes the formula functional. Reason being, you will not see a formula but there will be a qn, where in you need to re-arrange the formula to get to the answer. Stalla lecture and notes gets deep in to the understanding part, use it well.

Dont worry a lot of schweser qns will be there too tune your thought process in solving these qns.

Expect more of Qn (2) types. they love it.
