General Question For CFA Level III candidates/prior test takers

Hey Guys,
A random question for you if you have taken Level III and/or passed it. Do you know whether being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) helps with the essay (constructed response)/AM portion of the Level III exam? With the focus being so heavily tilted towards Wealth Planning & Portfolio Management in Level III it seems like it might be… I am however completely speculating as I have not even glanced at any Level III material yet, hence why I am asking Thank you!
p.s. obviously CFPs who wrote Level III would be in the best position to answer this query

I’m sure it helps with the Wealth Planning portions of the AM, but make sure to answer the questions how CFAI wants it and not how you learned it as a CFP. And then there are 100 sections where the CFP won’t help you. So it’s an advantage but still no cakewalk.
