GIPS DISCUSSION

Nobody who took the exam can verify that without violating the Code and Standards.
Of course, as a Level III candidate, you already knew that.
 
Can’t say whether GIPS was part of the exam or not but have you considered the fact that CFA may bundle it up with another section for scoring purposes?
 
It’s rumored that GIPS falls under the “Portfolio Management” category on the scoring matrices sent out in August.
 
spend your time nailing the IPS, not messing around rote leaning GIPS rules.
 
Why is everyone dodging the question? OP just asked what methods other people used to learning all that faff…

Jess, put it this way! Destroy the other sections that are worth more and be able to get 50% on GIPS on the exam.
Its worth very little is what I know.
Its not a very big section of the test.
 
Print the reading out and bring it to the bathroom every time you have to go.
Eat a lot of fiber so you have to go a lot.
Repeat each day as needed.
