There are no LOS which state “Calculate”, only Describe and Explain. So should we spend time knowing these calculations and expect to do them on the exam?
Is it ok to just read the GIPS summary and not go inside the material?
Is there a chance that GIPS will not show up on the exam? or be on the morning session?

the 2013 level 2 exam taught me not to trust CFAI command words. even if it doesn’t specifically say calculate, you may still be required to do so on the exam.
I’d imagine that it’s quite unlikely that GIPS won’t appear somewhere on the exam.

If I had to guess, I would say there’s less chance GIPS shows on the AM
