Hey guys,
I just got to GIPS and I’m seeing huuuuuge lists, while reading questions that can only really be answered by memorizing these lists. I’ve been able to memorize (and then have it percolate and later understand) a majority of the books now, and I’m reading through this and it looks like that just won’t be feasible (I can’t memorize 20 40pt lists, can you??!). Can anyone share their GIPS studying tips?

Gips is the new means of cursing (aka gips this), that should address your question haha. Jokes aside, i plan on cramming this information for i see no other method of memorizing it with all the other material we have to commit to memory.

The EOC questions of GIPS seems like a good indication of what they’ll ask on the exam. As long as it’s not in the AM i’m not overly concerned about it

GIPS was so hard to get through. I made flashcards with all important requirements/reccomendations and hopefully I’ll get it down that way.

I’d take a leap of faith.
CFA multiple choices item sets:
If you dont understand anything, you have a 33% chance of getting the right answer (indifferent to any of the answers)
If you partially understand the material, you have 10%-20% chance of getting the right answer (you’ll be attracted to the half correct answer that’s designed for this soul purpose).
An educated guess: eliminate the nonsense answer. If both of the other answers have merits, chose the one that’s not appealing to you.
Warning: use this strategy only if you really have to. If you felt lost in more than one item set, you are doomed.

Cant tell. When reading GIPS I see everything in pink and feel nauseous

IN A WORLD where darkness looms on earth. Fear creeps at dawn. A demonic hunter chases the last clan of nerds. GIPS THE SON OF BAAL. Coming June the 6th.

Use the curriculum and write the “requirements” and “recommendations” of each section in the margins and memorize them.
