haven't been back at af for a while. i'm back at work now and i'm getting asked how i did on the test. i have no freaking idea. some days i feel good about it, others i have flashbacks of seeing "fail". a week has passed and the test seems like a blur. i REALLY have no idea how i fared on that afternoon portion..

dont worry about it, the majority of us passed and thats a fact - we all have a very good chance of passing :)

deep down i feel ...

oagra, i hope so.
danteshek. i actually don't know, so maybe that is bad. after december, i KNEW i failed. this time i don't know that i failed. i think i have a good shot. but i still can't say that i know that i passed. bummer.

What is the date that CFAI post results? I know i could prob look on the site but its summer and hot so im a little lazy.

Someone on one of the other threads was saying that the magical day will be July 17th. I don't know how reliable that date actually is.

last summer it was 7 1/2 weeks after the exam date. With that, I'm placing bets on July 25th.

sportsfan,

i think i remember seeing that you also took the exam last december. how are you feeling about it this time around?

i also took it in december and failed. i guess i feel better this time around but the pm session was not cool.

Last year it was July 26th, the exam was on June 3rd then.. so July 25th looks like a good bet.

yeah, I bombed most of it last December. Got too cocky and didn't study much. I feel pretty good about this time though. I agree with you on the PM session. Hopefully I eeked out enough to pass. Can't wait for the results!!!

i feel the same way...after i took the exam in december, i knew that i failed. i don't know about the june exam, though. the exam didn't get any easier for me.

i really feel like the june exam was more difficult. but i still finished with time remaining and felt better than after taking the december one. this wait is so brutal.

do you think you'll take it again if you fail? (which i hope you don't)

and THAT is the real question... right after i took the test, i said, "no freaking way". but now, i'm not so sure i can give it up like that. i'll probably need a third strike to get the point because even if i fail (oh god no) i think i will feel like i was super close. so.. to answer your question, i'd probably do it one more time.. what about you?

we're not failing. unacceptable, does not compute. i think i'd take it one last time if I failed only b/c I feel like I'd be so close already, but man would it be painful. it's just not happening- we're going to pass. PASS. you guys really thought this one was harder than dec? dec is just so blurry, i can't even compare it really. seems like it was pretty similar in format and question difficulty from what little i recall.

i was feeling the exact same way as i completed the exam and walked out the door. i told myself: "never again!!!", but i'll probably take it one more time too.

i think december seemed easier because i knew i was going to fail going in. (if that makes any sense) now that i think about it, i flat out guessed on a bunch on december, so i'm not sure what the hell i'm talking about. i think why i felt like june was harder was because i was fighting and scratching for every point this time around. so instead of just guessing on a question and giving up like i did in december, it took work and thinking on every question. (i think i only flat out guessed on maybe 1 or 2 problems in june) i hope that is it...

but you are right, bannis, failing is NOT an option.

I definitely know for sure that i will fail, dont have a nice feeling about the exam.... thinking of registering for next june already :(

a friend of mine (who passed L1) told me that how you feel when you first leave the PM exam is accurate, i.e. if you have a good feeling, you'll pass. Afterwards, you'll start analyzing and seeing posts on AF and begin wondering if you really did well after all.

So guys, just remember how you felt the second you left the exam room, and hopefully, if its a positive feeling, you'll pass :)
