Goldman in SLC

I recently noticed that Salt Lake City has a Goldman Sachs office. I am not from or live in that area, but I thought it kind of strange that a smaller city like that has such an office. Does anyone know anything about that office (i.e. size of office, or services provided there)?

its probably some small mortgage related company which they bought and subsequently got re-named.

It's a private wealth management office.

slc has lot of contact centers for brokerage houses . May be they are getting in there aswell for same reason others are.

Goldman actually has these private wealth management offices scattered around. They have one in Miami, San Fran, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, LA, Houston, Dallas as well as various other places.

Anyone know anything about those jobs? Lucrative?

They very well might have a PWM office in SLC, but I think it's primarily the base for Goldman Sachs Bank USA. It's a Utah-chartered bank they opened several years ago to gather deposits and diversify their funding base.
