Hey All,
Wanted to ask the forum if other Level III takers also experienced good and bad days when thinking about the test results? Some days I feel I almost certainly passed and others I feel I most certainly failed, which may be in part due to reading some of the posts on this site. Anyway, just curious if others felt the same. Furthermore, has anyone over the past years done a behavioral assessment for people on this forum? I would be curious to see if/how folks use the forum to cope with uncertainty after the exam, but also if those individuals who actively use the board are likely the ones that have nothing to worry about and simply don’t deal well with uncertainty. Didnt want to get philosophical on everyone, but definitely an interesting perspective.

I think everyone experiences good days and bad days in terms of assessing whether or not you passed. I was the same way on L1 and L2. Invariably, I always feel worst about it in the first week or so after exam. Then, after the specifics of how hard it was start to fade, I start to think….well, maybe I did pass. I’m starting get into the, maybe I did pass mode right about now…

I started to feel more okay the few days after the exam reading posts on this forum where people did not finish like 2-3 morning session questions, when I for the most part finished them all, doesn’t mean quality of my answers was any good, but people saying afternoon was easy (felt good about PM session) got me thinking ti probably will be more strict grading process… so I go through cycles, and have random bits of anxiety. Best I try to do is not think about it and enjoy 10 weeks of techincally not having to worry about it since I don’t have any decisions to make or anything to do with the CFA since I am in limbo. Kind of nice kind of stressful…

I had the same feelings 1 week post, mainly just second guessing my confidence. Now i feel like a free man

As time passes the more I feel like I failed.
Not stressing about it but i’m pretty sure I failed band 9/10. Only upside at this point!

I’d rather think of Band 10

As time passes you feel some doubt.. and the anxiety comes since you will keep remembering all missed questions/got them wrong.. and those ones you will remember them well till your result day.. It’s normal but don’t keep thinking alot, i remember last year didn’t thought about it at all until when CFA institute notified us the result date here comes the stress..
Enjoy your summer.. Till August comes
