I’m convinced the CFA turned me a bit OCD. I was there like 2 hours early for the most recent exam, was checking the ticket passport etc on a ridiculously regular basis, made sure i was only eating really bland food for the week leading up to the exam etc.
I can definitely relate to this .. But I started the food thing about 1.5 months before exam day

Proctor’s pre-exam announcement in 2030: “… Please make sure that your underwear and bra size match the size you entered on your exam ticket. An K7 dog will be roaming aorund you shortly to sniff for mismacthes”

You could probably charge $200 at the exam if you brought a few extras, the opportunity cost of not paying for one and failing is much higher.
I could do something similiar next year, anyone with me? lol

There was a guy standing at the entrance and asking everyone entering the test room if they had an extra calculator. Nobody gave him a hand.

Not some charity exam doesn’t mean you can’t do some charitable things.

Ain’t nobody gonna be sad for you if you lent one to some poor guy in need and yours fails. You’ll be kicking yourself for one year straight.
Only if you did fail because of the dysfunctional calculator you kept for yourself, but the chane of this happening is extremely low. I would love to see if anyone will post on AF and claim that one failed because of the calculator suddenly failed during the exam.

He couldnt go down the street and buy one?
Or maybe he ended up picking a calculator from the floor and the procter found notes on it and decided to write him up.
No, I dont’ think any store within walking distance will have these two types of calculator. If he did go to the nearst staples, get one and come back, it will be well pass the time.
