I used Schweser notes, finished 3books of them till now. time is tight , I know. I used to think the level 1 is easy. but it turns out not ---:( it's very time-consuming

lots of people emphasize that it is very important to work on problems instead of only reading books. with the limited time, what practise books should I use? any other suggestions?

Continue dedicated study and finish of the material at first. Next you can take SchweserPro - QBank or something similar depending on your confidence level.

Atleast 40 hours per week is required.

If you can complete studying Schweser notes by end of this month then take Dec 06 Q bank else better take June 06 QBank.

All the best.

Aim to finish your study material by the end of this month if you can leaves you four weeks for the exam to revise

I agree. I started off my studying in the beginning of August. I read all of the CFA texts. Starting the last week of Sept, I started reading the Schweser study notes. I am going at a pace of one book per week. I just started book 3 yesterday. On my pace, I should be done reading the study notes Nov 1. That gives me a month to do practice exams and review. I am confidant this will be successful.

tks all

I'll do my best to finish the material this month, though I read books slowly. :(
Today I only read the first 30 pages of book4.

one question,
I think the answer to question 6th (on page30, book4) might be wrong, I post here because there is one problem with explanation on page32.

when calculating the fraction of last year, 620/1503 is wrong ,right,it should be 620/2000=.31
so the answer should be 2.3 ?

any suggestions about how to speed up reading?

thanks

Move your eyes faster?

Seriously, though, just make sure you understand everything and be able to flip it backwards and forwards, intuitively. Don't worry about keeping pace with the so-called time table or schedule...then focus on doing a mother-f*ckload of questions.

Not if you're sacrificing content and understanding to stay on the so-called targets set forth by Schweser or some keener on this board.
