I see no mention here of the Schwezer Qbank and was wondering how all of you are scoring? On the four subjects I have reviewed, I am scoring 77.5%, which is 4.7% above average. I have no idea who else is taking this thing, i.e. people really prepared or people just guessing or a mix. I’ve seen your mock exam scores and I’m about to start on those but was hoping you might be able to share how you have done on the Qbank. I’m scared.

75% over 1209 questions. I dont know how much to read into the averages, but it does feel good to be on the right side of the bell curve. Also scared haha

I’m sure everyone approaches the Qbanks differently but I know that I have an approach that artificially deflates my scoring (currently in low 60%).
I’m going through the entire Qbank once, and then I’m going to go through a second time and answering only the questions I got wrong (not realistic for everyone as I estimate this process will take approximately 215 hours to complete).
Anyway, what I’m getting at is that there are many questions that I get correct, but then switch my question to an incorrect answer so I can re-visit the question on the second time around (either because I guessed or was unsure and want to re-affirm my understanding later on). I’m not sure if there are any other crazies out there doing this….
Having said all of that, mid-70’s is pretty decent in my opinion. That’s what I ended up with in the QBank at L1 (only went through that Qbank once) and passed >70% in all topics. However, this is not L1…..
Please re-post when you move on to the mock exams. I’m very curious as to how well your scoring in the QBank translates to the mock exams with item sets. (I don’t plan on doing mocks for like another two weeks)

I have used Qbank for quants only by the moment, my score is 90%. I expect that my score may converge to the 75% level, so not much happy at all.

You guys even started QBanks. I am worried. I just started with third reading and completing Assessment from CFAI Website. Completed EOC and Schweser once and gave one Mock with Open Book. I am really scared now!

^^^ ah. Wish I could.
I don’t even know what to believe as regards my score on qbank.
I started with scoring a little over 60% moved on to >70, peaked at 83% yesterday. Today, I got 67% on my most recent test. I notice that I don’t do exceptionally well in the occassional vignettes.
Do you guys think practicing the qbank(with questions structured like that of the level one exam) is sufficient?
Apart from CFA mocks is there any free exam-like questions anywhere online?

I would shift away from the Qbanks and start conditioning your brain for vignette form. I did like 700 Qbank questions and shifted over to the CFAI assessments and it was a wake up call. Don’t rely on the Qbanks. They’re good for conceptual understanding only.

I use the only new questions option on KS, and I have a 71% with nearly 64% of all available questions taken. I think I’d test higher if I used recycled questions - but I’m still happy I’m above 70%.
Is it just me, or does it aggravate others when comparing your stats to others Kaplan uses a percentage sign when it should be percentage points. For example, if I have a 75% on a test while others have a 70%, I am not 5% higher than them - I’m five percentage points higher than them. I know I’m being picky, and I gues they cover it sort of by saying difference, but for some reason it rubs me wrong.

Totally agreed here. I transitioned from Kaplan’s Qbank with 40 days out. I am not mocking like crazy although I’ll go back to Kaplan’s Qbank occasionally for “soft studying.”
