How fast do you read?

Anybody know how fast they are reading the CFAI? What’s your best guess?

I’m closer to 15 than to 10 per hour, but it depends with my familiarity with the subject - and there’s some variation there for me.

May be you can find out standard deviation of the number of pages you read per hour and also smoothen the data, it will help us set the benchmark. :)

Wow you guys are pretty fast. I am closer than 5 pages per hour on average.
But that’s including blue boxes and EOCs…

LOL!!! I better use that time to study!

depends on the subject. There’s a lot of repeat information from Level-I/II that I tend to skim through and thend to look for any new angle Level-III is presenting.
I’m about 60 hours in and im on page 60 of the third book. That’s about 10-15 pages per hour of reading which also includes extensive note taking and flash card creation.

In my opinion 10-15 pages per hour is great!!. Personally, I manage to do about 6 pages per hour and I know I am a slow reader at that because it also is tremendoulsy dependent on concentration power and focus. I have noticed when I am crucnhed for time and have to make good of the available hours, my performance increases for good, i.e. say 10 -12 pages easily per hour. But come with free time , the mind starts playing tricks and I simply laze around, physically and mentally. Tremendous amount of distraction sets in and then the performance dips. It is a classic case of lethargy and take it too easy kind of attitude.
Do you guys suffer from the same

It depends on the content, but 20-25 pages an hour on average.
