After working in equity research for a couple years and obtaining a CFA Charter? (I am pretty fluent in Japanese)

it's not that hard, but you will be push inside into a train all the time and you will get drunk at night.

To play proper grab ass it has to be so packed that nobody can see your face much less hear your words.

Don't let this thread be hijacked by perverted grab ass discussers. Please post any info on Japanese employment opportunities! I'm thinking about living there for a spell and love the insight!

Now thats funny.

i would NOT work in Japan although i hear about the girls situation there. but no, even if they offered me an associate role (and that is assuming the impossible), i would NOT go to Japan to work. that is out of the question. i would only go to Japan to have a good time, and according to Mike Tyson, you can have a good time in Japan.

Of course you would Frank. It's a beautiful place filled with great people.

bill east or west? south or west? a tool........an investment banking tool you tool.....

i dont' think the CFA matters in that country........its a completely different working environment.......

frank you should learn mandarian and goto China, lots of ibanking jobs there...and my asian friends say "lots of stuff happens in VIP in the clubs"

you think they're going to hire me there?...u r crazy......plus, i don't want to move to all parts of the world and suffer....i much rather do ibanking in Canada.........

there are tons of ibanking jobs everywhere.....even old fashion Canada......but are they desperate enough to hire me? we'll see.........

Frank, you're not going to get hired. You're too old to get in as an analyst, yet don't have the experience/MBA to get in as an associate. I think it would be more productive for you to stop day dreaming and start seeing the reality.

Go do something else. There are lots of other non ibanking jobs that are both lucrative and prestigious.

fortune......i don't think you know what you're talking about......plain and simple.........i have heard it before and i know people who got in at my age and even older......but i do have a question, are you an MD or someone who was remotely close to hiring?

i'm not going to japan...no way....not a chance....i would like to go for a visit though...
