How long did you study?

I started preparation on 14th August, and studied for exact 90days and totalled 425 hours. Having said that, because of my 12hour job - the quality of studying/reading was poor during weekdays. I studied lazily during workdays but tried my best on weekends. Its about how much concentration you have during those hours and how well your brain is working after office. IThe recommended 300 hours of preparation means studying with full concentration.
I have decent finance/accounting background (BBA/MBA/CIA)
did you try getting to work an hour early and studying at your desk?
that was when i got my best studying in because i was fresh
In the morning i would just read for 30minutes in the car … only studied after i came back home ‘totally’ exhausted … i know studying in morning is very helpful but I am a night owl :/ , still I managed to wake early during weekends to study, the thing i never ever did in my whole life

Based on my experience, studying is just like reading about driving without a car. Attacking on qbanks and mocks and referring it back to Los’s is like driving the real car. (That what I learnt in last 6 months). Remember always try to start with easy option. Level 1 is easy for those who can link those Los’ and apply it within those 180 minutes. It is all about timing and application of knowledge. You lose (64%) or you win (36%)

I did roughly the same hours as you Cgrady40 it doesnt mean we are dumb - i think a lot of people lie on this forum about how many hours they put in. If they didnt lie and really only did 100 hours or less and pass then all it means is that they have a much better revision strategy compared to me and you.

I think this is a very good analogy for the exams.

7 months. I work full-time, so I only had a couple of hours after work. Did 5 to 6 hours on the weekends - cheated here and there if on vacation or holiday weekends. Get through the readings and start questions ASAP. That’s the key to doing better than your peers.
