How long to prepare for CFA level 1?

Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum, and I am preparing for CFA level 1 in Dec 2013.
Just wondering, how long does it usually take for you to prepare level 1 exam, assuming you are working full time as well?
Is 4 months enough time to prepare for it please?

For some, yes.
For others, no.
It really depends on how conscientious one is about studying.

4 months studying one hour per day is different than 4 months studying 4 hours per day. So any number of months is posisble but the earlier the better. Worst case you will be better prepped to take it again in June and think of Dec as an expensive mock that you have a shot at passing.
