How many pages is Schweser

Hi,
Can somebody please let me know how many pages each Shweser book is? I am purchasing second hand notes, and just want to be sure I'm not missing anything- Thanks
 
I thought it was 2K, but don't quote me on that.

Maybe CFAI has some info on that.

Can one of you please tell me the numbers- like Book 1 has x pages, Book 2 y pages...etc...Thank you
 
i cant i'm not in the CFA prgram and I smoke way too much these days to mess with it. mabey i'll enroll in the test for dec 07
 
Then what are you doing in this forum sir. You should be out taking a smoke...
 
I'm going to start L1 soon i heard it wasnt that hard. Actually I was a PE major in college, i studied high all the time it made me better at it.
 
what in gods name does the number of pages in each book tell you?

and dont you need to know the number of books?

an how about the font size and spacing and margins - will that give you a better fix on content to be mastered?
 
JohnyMac and goldcoins...since u guys seem a bit thick (what ARE u doing in this forum anyways), or maybe just don't understand english too well , here is my post COPY PASTED again....

This means that since I am buying the notes second hand, I want to make sure the seller is not conning me by selling damaged notes with missing pages. And a piece of advice- if you don't have an answer to somebody's questions, please keep your smartass comments to yourselves....your time would prolly be better utilized studying for the exam...all the best ...god knows u need it
 
I may be thick but I am not a "second hand" type of guy - if something is important enough for me I get the materials I need and I dont dither around with half assed fact gathering approaches and study solutions......................


But the number of pages in each book is a closely guarded secret and so I cannot divulge this information..........good luck in your quest for the holy grail.

Perhaps when you complete this project you can count the stones in the great pyramid, it is said to hold the secret to life itself!
 
Excuse me.... second hand or first hand, i think that's a personal preference....Whoever asked for your inane opinion on that...and in future just stay away from my posts...You sound like some nasty 5th grade boy who lurks around corridoors waiting to pounce on people....except they would prolly score more than you on an IQ test...
 
cfa_2K6, Come on, your question cannot be answered right away. You have not told us the year of the notes. The no. of pages differs from year to year. Also, there was once a question to schweser with regards to the no. of pages and schweser mentioned that they were using a special grain paper of certain thickness etc. That's is why I mentioned the thickness aspect.

In summary, one cannot provide you an answer without knowing the year of the notes you currently own.
 
In addition, if I tell you the number of pages, are you going to sit there and count each page? You can't just to look at the last page and make sure it's there, all that will tell you is that the last page is there. Trust me when I say it'll be pretty easy to notice if a page has been torn out.
