How many times a year you can take CFA Level 1?

Not a very nice question here, but anyway: if I fail June 2006 exam, can I retake it in December 2006 - two same exams within one year? I have tried to look for clues at CFA institute, but it doesn't say anything about it. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks
