How tough is corporate finance portion?
I still have that one to go….. :(

I will probably skip it then. We can expect maybe 6 questions on this portion which I can guess.

I don’t find it that difficult. It seems like an area to pick up a few easy points. At the very least you should skim through it.

Two weeks from yesterday I’ll be teaching Level II Corporate Finance at UC, Irvine; I already taught it at a small fixed-income management firm in Newport Beach.
It didn’t seem that tough, though it has the usual ridiculous amount of memorization (e.g., takeover defenses). I’d encourage you to skim it at least; you may pick up a point or two on minimal effort.

i would suggest to rethink your strategy. It could weigh anything between 5-15% and last 3 years it has been covered for 10% that’s like 12 questions!

I really hope it is 15% on the exam as it is a pretty easy topic area and overlaps with equity. I will be really annoyed if it is only 5%.
What REALLY bothers me though is Schweser Mock 3 where FRA and PM are both 15%. I think it is criminal to have a topic have a range of 5-15% and another of 15-25% both end up as 15% on an exam.
I just have a bad feeling that the subjects I devote more time to will end up getting short changed on the exam.

I really cannot imagine PM will be 15% in the actual exam. I would give it a weighting of 10% maximum. In my opinion it is much more like corporate finance will take a larger weighting than PM
