To those who always ask how is it to prepare the exam with kids. I’m a mom of 2 toddlers. When I did L1 and L2, I did not have kids and passed straight first attempt. Then we decided to start our family and I stopped to carry our kids. I came back for L3 with one baby of 6 months old that I was still nursing and a toddler of barely 2 years old.
All I can say it is NOT EASY AT ALL. With a baby, you don’t have the luxury of setting up a schedule after work or weekend. You study when the baby allows you to study. And you miss playing with your kids a lot. You sleep when the baby allows you to sleep. This is also where good organization with your spouse comes to play. Weekend my husband will take care of the kids and I will just disappear for long hours at the library.
So yes, it is doable, but be prepared for a very different experience. Make sure you take advantage of every moment you can get to study, get your body set up to sleep less while performing more.
And just like other said, mocks…mocks…mocks. I did AM mocks from 2009 to 2015 under exam conditions. I graded myself very harshly, with no partial credit allowed. And of course, my objective was to take advantage of the PM session as well just in case.
And don’t forget to chase S2000 Magician. Big help on this forum
Big advantage I got from this is I lost my pregnancies weight so fast because of all this stress. I weight now less than before the kids. Thank you CFA program
My 300hours score is 67.1%
