If anyone failed here...

people definitely pass L2 after passing L1 in december. you'd still have the stuff fresh in your head and you'd be in that study "mode". just study and crush the Dec test so hard that come Dec 2nd or 3rd, long before results are out, you know you destroyed it and can hop into L2. that'd be 6 months to study L2... if you need more than that, you're just torturing yourself.
