If I think a question is defective, how should I report it?

There was one question that I don’t believe any of the three given options was correct. How should I report it?
 
Is emailing them and revealing the question details an ethics violation? Lol. I just want to make sure I don’t screw myself over…
 
i very much doubt it.. you missed a keyword in the vignette most likely.
 
Yeah I doubt it too. You can leave exam feedback within the login area of the CFAI site I believe.
 
It’s unlikly but not impossible that a question has flaw or is totally defective. They must have read and do it multiple times before printing them. But in case there is one, I remember that CFAI would give credit to all candidates.
 
If a question is unclear, the MPS will be lowered to compensate. Remember that the entire exam will be reviewed over the next couple of weeks by Charterholders in Virginia.
 
Out of curiosity what topic was the defective question in? I thought there was one too.

No, the corporate finance problem was not defective.
 
Yup, derivatives.
I reported it in the post exam survey.
