If the CFA Exam was offered electronically...

No! The exam day routine is the most fun part of all the CFA experience. The metal detector at the security check-in, procters checking your calculator for cheat sheets, the guy reading the instructions twice…I would not trade that in for an electronic test.
 
I’ve still not seen the metal detectors, but I don’t think many people etch notes onto a thin sheet of steel which they fold and keep hidden on thier person. Might just be a better idea to get people to turn thier pockets out and roll thier sleeves up.

I’ve done the 7, 63, 24, CFP ChFC, (and a few more after 17 years in the biz) and none of them compare to the intensity and game day feel as this. Wouldn’t want to change a thing!
 
I’ve always thought it would be interesting if it were an interview …
although unlikely due to logistics… just a fun thought
