There’s a bank IPS question in one of the MM mock exams, although I can’t recall which one it is.
But I’m also wondering what all the fuss is about re bank IPS questions. Is there more to it than calculating the leverage adjusted duration gap and commenting on their risk tolerance? They aim to make a positive interest rate spread and I assume their required return calc would be similar to other institutional IPS questions. Am I missing something here?
