Investment bank salaries in India

I was wondering where to look for a good benchmark for salaries in Mumbai. Basically, I have been asked whether I have a number in mind and don’t really know where to begin.
To give you some context, I am considering relocating from London to Mumbai and in conversation with a large Japanese bank for an SVP role in Market Risk.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Damn, I was hoping for some processed refried rotten meat that passes for American food!! Going to have to drop the idea then…..

CFASniper, why do you want to move to India? Even with all the diamond mines it’s still very corrupt and dirty, plus I heard there are like lions everywhere. I saw this documentary on a guy that went on a game show there but he was really poor and the game show host beat him up to try to keep him from winning the money even though he just wanted to meet his girlfriend! I think he had a dog at some point in the movie too.
