Does anybody who studied for level 1 (past or present ) have any feedback or comments regarding Investopedia's Inside Edge Level 1 study notes? I downloaded the 2007 version earlier this year from Investopedia's website (it's no longer available). I am mostly using the Schweser notes and video series to study, but am reviewing studied readings the next day with Investopedia's notes. They are fairly short and consice but I like the way it is written (easier to read) and they give simple examples and a few handy tips.

Even though I like reviewing them I'm not sure if it's a good use of my time as I have had no input from others regarding the quality and usefullness of the notes.

Thanks!

They use to be available for purchase on investopedia's website. Then for a while earlier this year you could dowload the entire Level 1 for free, but it's no longer available.

They suck.

I've done their questions but didn't particularly like them. Very outdated too.

Hmmm. I managed to download it while it was free. I thought it was a good supplement to my study materials. It was written in VERY plain english. When I wanted to give my brain a break, I found it useful...I still have a pdf copy somewhere, I'm certain.

Hey nycleh,

You can upload the file to
http://www.megaupload.com/

and post the link for us to download

Thanks

Sorry Guys - I only have a printed copy of the notes. Hopefully nycleh31 can help you out with the file. The notes aren't great, but OK to look at when you've had enough of staring at the same CFAI/Schweser notes for hours. Another alternative might also be the free notes on @#$%&.com. I have not personally seen them but know they exist.

It's weird how we are faced with mountains of info from the CFAI text and other prep providers, but still we want more!!

Happy studying...
