CFA institute claims everytime when somebody calls up that there have been no success stories on retabulation for many years now.
This raises the follwing questions!
01) Why do they have a retabulation with zero probability of a success?
02) I personally know few pople who moved from Fail to Pass after retabultation. CFAI make the candidate stay confidential about it and thats why we dont see any success stories here in the forum

CFA makes them stay confidential about it? I am truly surprised (or shocked) if its happened!

Hi Righteous , did they change his result to pass from Fail ?

No, I was making a joke. He failed and made a big stink demanding that cfai had cheated him and specifically blamed John rogers for it. It was one of the most insane and hilarious posts we’ve ever had. Admin deleted it though for some reason creating great suspicion.
Ive never heard of someone winning a retabulation battle. I don’t think cfai has any reason to be secretive about it. Furthermore, there would be nothing to stop an anonymous poster from making a claim that they did win. Which makes me think you have about a zero chance of winning.
Maybe if you it x’s in the bubbles or something like that, but not just because.

I agree, there are already so many rounds the paper is scrutinized anyway.
The only way a Level 3 candidate can actually pass is when they release the answer papers and somebody writes an email to CFAI explaining why they were wrong. And if that mark is awarded to any Band10 L3 candidate, there are chances he/she scrapes through. Last year I remember someone posting in January that he cleared it that way & CFA returned his registration amount!
I have never heard of L1/L2 candidate passing in retab though!

i heard QQQBEE is going for his claritas….

if band 10…..spend 100 and gamble on a chance that half yr of studying time can be avoided…
if 100 usd is ok to u, y not just gamble on that chance? possible saving of of half a yr!!!!!!

if i get band 1 or something knowing i was confident about the exam, i will definitely retabulate the exam!
