is investopedia good enough?

if i dnt understand a particular section of the cfai modules i normally refer to kaplan. but the problem is i have 2011 notes and the course has changed in certain sections like macro eco and alternative investment..is investopedia good enough to get me through there?
what else would u refer?
 
Investopedia is good for some things, bad for others (and really bad for a few). I wouldn’t rely in it without cross-checking.
 
I think it’s pretty good, i mean, you are unlikely to use it exclusively to pass your exam, but if you are stuck on a concept, it’s good to have another source (FREE!) to explain it to you in another way.
Sometimes it helps to see it in a different forumla, different explanation, sometimes it is even mroe confusing… i don’t know, but since it’s free and easy to use, i’d say definitely try it!

I agree with this.
For me, I was helped by a combination of CFAI and Schweser books. Some things the CFAI books just seem to take you in circles and give you a bunch of random filler info that’s not really important (though maybe nice to know)
 
Our channel may be helpful, even though there aren’t many videos out yet.
What are you looking for? The selection is fairly limited right now.
