a recruiter wanted to send my resume there for a "research" job once a while back. from what i remember it was more of an analytics type of role, dealing with indexes and benchmarking etc.
it's not the type of work you think of when you think equity or fixed income research... (i don't think msci barra does that).
that being said i'm sure it's a solid company. just depends on what you want to do.
