Ok, here is the deal ....I am making about garbage in the backoffice at a wealth management firm. (This isnt a hedge fund, we dont get a piece of the pie) I graduated in spring of 2004 from a decent college, which is better known in the Philadelphia area then elsewhere. Right now my company pays for my MBA in full which is fine and dandy; I am going to Villanova and about half of the way through the program by the end of the fall semester. Also, i fully attend to pass CFA 1 this June(Without a doubt, I was completely preparted). I'm pretty much done at 530ish most days at works so it affords me the time to get my MBA and enough time to study for CFA as well, but the pay sucks. So here is my question to you guys.....
Right now should i LOOK for a job in new york, conn, wherever and bust my ass working there for 70+ a year and hope for and pray for a bonus? or should i just pay my dues for a few more years down here in philly. I am open to dropping out of school if the pay is worth it.
any input would be great or if you need any more info from me i will be happy to oblidge.
-thanks!!!!
