I'm kinda absolutely new at this CFA exam thing and after reading the CFA website and several posts, I want to ask something about books:
What are my options?
(1) The official ones on the CFA website?
(2) Schweser?
(3) Many many more different ones?
If I understand correctly, the 2007 will be using a new cirriculum so I cannot study from previous years' books.
And, it seems like to buy a complete set of these books from one place is already couple hundred dollars and I read some ppl study from the CFA official ones, the Schweser, AND other study guides as well. Wouldn't that be like a thousand dollars spent on books?
Is it an either-or thing? Like you buy either the official ones, or the Schweser? Do I really need both and more?
Does CFA expect you to study off all the study guides or is it that if I study off the CFA official ones that's sufficient already?
Please let me know, THANKS!
