June Vs. Dec. Exam

Hi,

Is there a big difference between June and December exam, such as in types of questions, materials tested, etc?
Does anyone know?
I am confused whether I should take this December or June next year.
Thank you.
 
pooh, the same content is tested at the same weights on June and December exams of the same year. The questions themselves will change of course. As in past years, there will likely be adjustments to the curriculum between December 2007 and June 2008.
 
as for june 08, the FSA and econ has a lot of changes plus u don't have the option to use other source for studying co'z the CFA text (again) are included in the fee. so its up to your personal assesment if there is no much pressure and u can prepare enought for the dec exam then go for it, and if u pass, you really save time and $$$ but in the other hand, if u are not certain then u must consider the 08 june batch.
 
wow that was cogent...

While they did make us purchase the CFAI texts, that doesn't preclude one from ordering outside materials. I plan to order 2008 Schweser when they become available in late September.
