L3 postponement due to emergency?

does anyhone know if CFAI will alow L3 posponement due to emergency? I broke my hand and going in for an operation on thursday and will have no use of my writting hand for 6-8 weeks!
 
I don’t have any special knowledge regarding this but I’m guessing your screwed in terms of postponing your exam anytime prior to June 2017. Maybe they will refund you but if I had to guess, I’d guess that won’t happen either.
When I read this my first thought was how do they know you broke the hand you write with. They might have a similar thought among other things…..Start practing with your left (right) hand?
 
I remember reading the policies on the CFAI website recently and it stated that there would be no postponement or whatever allowed, even for medical emergencies. So I’m pretty sure you’re shit out of luck…what an awful time to break your hand, I feel for you!

No postponement. The only exception I’ve ever heard of was military
 
Bro pop some oxys and gut it out. Write with your teeth if you have to. Itera took his exam blindfolded and got >70 in all.
 
how the hell did you break it?
i lived in a bubble in isolation the last monh before the test
