Hi everyone,
I just passed the level 3 exam and have 2-3 years of work experience as a financial analyst. The thing is I’m currently studying law and will eventually start working as a corporate lawyer before having completed my 4 years of work experience in finance. Do you guys think the work experience as a corporate lawyer (M&A law, financing, etc.) will count when applying for the charter?
Any lawyer in the same situation?
Thanks!

Wish I could provide a more definite answer, but I do know one lifelong corporate auditor who has the designation. Her work experience is seamlessly in audit.
To the extent a CFA designation is useful as a specialization within law or statutory auditing, I took that to mean that that professional work is valid.
