a question to the more experienced test takers:
how is aimr going to inform us about our results? are they just sending an email or will there be something like an official notification certificate.

I'm asking since I need to report to my employer.

you will get a mail to let you know the result is available on the site (or just keep checking the site from about mid July) to which you can log on and check the result with the required password /login details. A letter will then come sometime later.

so, there is no way to hide the result as long as they want to see the letter that
comes later, right?

my idea was to retake the exam in december but pretend that I made it in order to keep my job.
if that won't work, I'll have lots of time to prepare for the exam .....

If your job is on the line, wouldn't your employer insist on seeing the results in writing?

Not trying to be too critical, but I think there was a question in the ethics section of the exam about a candidate pretending to pass the exam. Not sure, but I think this may violate one of the code of standards. ha

definitely not advised and certainly a violation, CFAI recently published a disciplinary action in which an L2 candidate actually forged a pass letter for L2 (which he had no-showed for) in order to comply w his employer's requirements - the firm checked, he was fired and thrown out of the CFA program
